How To Make Women Melt
The best way to make a woman melt is to do for her what you would want her to do for you. Right? WRONG! Take a look at some better ideas for melting the heart of that special woman.
Find Out What’s Important To Her
Give your special woman what she really wants. If you don’t know what that is, then pay close attention and really listen to what she says. Be ready, though, because what’s important to her might be something totally different than what you expect.
In his book The Five Love Languages, Dr. Gary Chapman writes about five different ways that a person might receive love. Most often, the way you give love will be in a “language” that is different than the way she receives love. Whether she prefers physical touch, words of praise, quality time, gifts, or specific actions, finding out what’s meaningful to her will help a great deal. For more specific information about love languages, visit your local library or book store and look for Dr. Chapman’s book.
Pay Attention To Her
Experts say that for the average American, up to 22 hours each day are consumed by work, sleep, commute time, and taking care of household responsibilities. It’s no wonder, then, that men and women struggle to find time just to be together. If you really want to touch her heart, set aside time devoted just to her. No phone calls, no TV, no other distractions, just your undivided attention. Even if you can only carve out a few minutes a day, chances are that she’ll treasure that special time more than just about any other gift you can give.
The Little Things Are Big Things
For most women, the things that make a difference are the little things that you may not even think about. Take out the garbage without being asked, or open the car door for her when you go out. Is there a chore or project she talks about frequently? Help her do it, or better yet do it for her. Pick up your dirty socks, let her pick the radio station in the car, send a note telling her how much you enjoy her company.
The next time the two of you are together, take note if she comments on a song she likes or a movie she really enjoyed. Then when you’re looking for something special to do for her you can include the song on a CD or rent the movie to watch together. Some men even keep a small notebook handy to writing down ideas for thoughtful little things that she will appreciate.
But Don’t Forget The Romance
Even the most practical woman craves a little romance now and then. The poet Robert Frost once wrote “Love is an irresistible desire to be irresistibly desired,” and a romantic action from you is a great way to communicate your desire for her. Here are a few examples of classic romantic gestures:
Learning how to make women melt is really just learning how to pay attention to what they most desire. Show her how much you care, every day and in every way, and you will touch her heart with love.
